Learn how to ride quad bikes and cruise around in the sunshine, throughout the mountains near the beaches! What a feeling! Karting Las Americas is the hottest go kart track on the island. The go kart track is open every day of the summer and is open from 9am until 8.30pm there’s no excuse not to fit it in to your Tenerife holiday. The track is well maintained and conforms to European standards. The go karts are very quick with 200cc engines! COASTEERING AND CLIFF DIVING
If you go cliff diving in and around Tenerife It is essential to check the depth of the water first! It can be fatal if you jump in to shallow water. Please ensure that you check the depth of the water and get the advice from the locals as to where you should try. There are high cliffs in Tenerife ranging from 1m up to 20 metres for all levels of cliff diving. Please do your research first. Xplore Tenerife offer guided tours which is worth considering!
TENERIFE BEACHES
if you are in Tenerife on a party holiday then chances are you will be staying in Playa de las Americas which has a lovely golden sandy beach, here you have sun loungers and also plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within proximity of the beach. However there are plenty of other beaches to explore if you fancy something a bit different. In fact there are 51 beaches covering a total of 41 miles in Tenerife, so there really is something for everybody. For example there are over 20 beaches with black sand! Playa de las Teraitas is our favourite beach which (famously been placed on Tenerife post cards )but there are to many to list here so ask your holiday rep if you want any further advice!
LORA PARQUE
Lara Parque is the top aquarium in Tenerife with 12 different thematic exhibitions and over 1.2 million gallons of water. The aquarium is only 150 metres from the sea and the water used at the aquarium is also from the Atlantic sea. You can also find reptiles, mammals and birds here too its a great way to spend a day out. You can purchase tickets for the Lora Parque from your My Party Holiday reps with transport to the park included :).
MONKEY PARK
Monkey park is another must visit in Tenerife if you area animal lover, located just 10 minute from Las Americas. Here you can see feed and play with different types of monkey and Racoons. This is a great way to interact with wild life which are extremely well cared for. There is also a reptile park with crocodiles and lizards which is a top attraction.
BUNGEE JUMP AT LA OROTAVA
For Adrenaline junkies! You can bungee jump at La Orotava in Tenerife. This is an excellent location deep in the heart of nature of the national park in Tenerife. This must be pre booked in advance.
WHALE AND DOLPHIN WATCHING
You are pretty much guaranteed to see something if you go on an excursion to see dolphins and even whales, its even possible to see an Orca! Typically a 3-4 hour trip costs around €40 per person going out on a boat. Great fun for all ages!
OROTAVA PAINTBALL
This is really popular with stag groups and birthdays parties. Paintballing is great fun wherever you are and you can do it in the beauty of the national park. Ask your My Party Holiday Rep to get you booked in for this.
